A Word About Consignments

We approach all consignments with the utmost professionalism and compassion. Whether you are looking to remodel your home, downsize, upsize or have an entire estate you need to manage we have the expertise and capabilities to help.

Come into our store, take a look around and see for yourself that all our items are being cared for as if they were still in your home. Chat with our staff - they will be the ones you entrust with the task of selling your treasured pieces.

The Process

We can schedule pickups or evaluation visits whenever it's most convenient for you - after work hours, on weekends, or during the week.

There are lots of ways to get an evaluation on your items. Choose which one best suits you:

  • Bring your items or photos directly into the store and we can discuss the evaluation with you.
  • Email us your photos. We’ll respond via email or phone call, whichever you prefer.
  • Call us to arrange for one of our staff to come to you and provide an evaluation on large quantities such as an estate.

Once you decide to consign with Around The Block you will be given a contract and we will set you up with an account where you will receive 60% of the selling price. You will be paid monthly.

If you have a large consignment, we encourage you to call us first. One of our experienced staff will talk with you about what we think will sell, what might not, and if we think an on-site consultation is necessary before proceeding. We can schedule a time to come and evaluate your items, and to make things easier, we can even pick the consignment up if needed.
